A1. The core layer of aluminum honeycomb panels adopts a honeycomb structure, with a surface density of only 5–12kg/㎡ (specifically depending on panel thickness and core material specifications). Its weight is about 1/3–1/5 that of solid aluminum panels of the same size. The lightweight advantage is obvious: it can significantly reduce the load-bearing burden of buildings or equipment, while cutting down transportation and installation costs. It is especially suitable for weight-sensitive scenarios such as curtain walls and RV carriages.
Q2. Is their strength and rigidity sufficient? Will they deform easily?
A2. Aluminum honeycomb panels adopt a composite structure of "honeycomb core + aluminum alloy panel". When under force, the load is evenly distributed across the entire panel surface, delivering excellent bending and compressive strength. They will not deform under normal use and have higher rigidity than solid panels of the same weight. Our products have passed rigorous tests and can meet the load-bearing requirements of different scenarios such as curtain walls, suspended ceilings, and furniture panels.
Q3. Is the installation convenient? Do special installation accessories are required?
A3. The installation is very convenient. We will provide a matching special installation system: panels for curtain walls can be equipped with keels and angle codes; panels for indoor furniture can be directly fixed with screws or spliced by grooving. Meanwhile, we will provide detailed installation drawings and guidance to ensure construction efficiency.
Q4. Is the surface scratch-resistant and corrosion-resistant? What is the service life?
A4. The surface can be treated with fluorocarbon spraying (PVDF), powder spraying, etc., featuring scratch resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and UV resistance. It is not easy to fade or rust when used outdoors. Under normal maintenance, the service life of aluminum honeycomb panels for outdoor curtain walls can reach 15–20 years, and the lifespan of panels for indoor furniture or suspended ceilings is even longer.
