CHAOEN Aluminum Honeycomb Panel (Anti-Fingerprint Matte Cabinet Door Series) solves the single biggest complaint about matte handleless cabinetry: every touch shows. The 18 mm all-aluminium panel carries a matte anti-fingerprint coating, so a handleless kitchen keeps its clean flat appearance through daily use instead of collecting greasy marks around every push-to-open point.
Detailed Description
Matte appearance without the maintenance penalty. Designers specify matte for its soft, non-reflective surface, but conventional matte lacquer and foil show oil from fingers immediately. The anti-fingerprint coating on this panel releases oils rather than holding them, so marks wipe away with a dry cloth and leave no streaks or halos.
Built for handleless designs. Push-to-open and grip-rail cabinetry concentrates hand contact on the door face itself. This series is intended for exactly that detail, keeping the contact zone looking the same as the rest of the run.
All-aluminium performance underneath. The panel is 100% aluminium with a hexagonal honeycomb core: 0% water absorption, zero formaldehyde emission, Class A2 non-combustible and dimensionally stable from -50 C to 120 C, so the same door runs from kitchen to bathroom without substituting material.
Full customization. 200+ matte colours and wood grains with RAL, Pantone and NCS matching, thickness 14-20 mm, CNC cut-to-size panels with aluminium banding or mitred edges and drilling to your hardware specification.
FAQ
Q1: How is the anti-fingerprint effect achieved?
A1: It is a coating applied to the aluminium face sheet that lowers surface energy so skin oils do not spread and bond. Marks sit on the surface and lift off with a dry cloth. A test report is available on request.
Q2: Will the anti-fingerprint property wear off?
A2: The coating is cured onto the aluminium face rather than applied as a temporary treatment, so it does not wash off with normal cleaning. We supply abrasion test data on request.
Q3: Can I use household cleaners on it?
A3: Yes, neutral household cleaners and a soft cloth are fine. Avoid abrasive powders and scouring pads as with any coated surface.
Q4: Is matte available in wood grain as well as solid colour?
A4: Yes. The anti-fingerprint coating is applied over both solid colours and wood grain finishes, and both can be combined in one order.
Q5: What thickness should I specify for cabinet doors?
A5: 18 mm is standard for cabinet and wardrobe doors. 14 mm, 16 mm and 20 mm are also available. Wall and ceiling panels are 7-9 mm and full door leaves 38-48 mm.
Q6: Can it be used in bathrooms as well as kitchens?
A6: Yes. Water absorption is 0% and there is no organic content, so the panel does not swell, warp or delaminate in humid rooms.
Q7: How is hardware fitted?
A7: Hinges, drawer runners and push-to-open mechanisms fit as they would to any 18 mm board. We can pre-drill to your hardware drawing.
Q8: What is the MOQ?
