CHAOEN Door Leaf Panel is a 38-50 mm lightweight door blank built from two 0.8 mm aluminium skins bonded to a hexagonal aluminium foil honeycomb core. A full-size door leaf made this way is far lighter than a solid timber or MDF door at equal thickness, while the honeycomb core carries the hardware and resists twisting.
The all-aluminium build means the door never warps, never swells and never rots, and the panel is A2 non-combustible with zero formaldehyde emission - properties that matter in hotels, hospitals, offices and public buildings where door leaves must keep their fit, finish and fire performance for decades.
Detailed Description
A heavy door look with a light door weight. The 38-50 mm honeycomb core gives a solid, substantial door that operates easily and loads hinges gently - an advantage on long hotel and hospital corridors where doors are used constantly.
Never warps, never sticks. Timber and MDF door leaves move with humidity and can bind in the frame. The all-aluminium construction does not absorb moisture, so the leaf keeps its flatness and the door keeps closing square year after year.
A2 non-combustible envelope. The door leaf adds no combustible material to the room and releases no toxic smoke in a fire, supporting the fire strategy of the building.
Zero formaldehyde. There is no wood-based core, so the door leaf gives off no formaldehyde and no odour, which is a requirement in healthcare and hospitality fit-out.
Machined like a timber blank. Panels are supplied as dimensionally stable blanks that can be edge-banded and routed for hinges, locks and closers, or supplied pre-machined to your hardware schedule.
Custom faces and sizes. Wood grain, solid colour and matt finishes are available, and leaves are cut and prepared to project door dimensions.
